Friss Hús has reached another important professional milestone: by joining the Short Film Conference (SFC), it has become the first organization from Hungary to join this global short film network.
Founded in 1970, the Short Film Conference is the only international organization dedicated specifically to connecting the professional short film community. Its activities are wide-ranging: it organizes conferences, researches and analyzes trends in the short film industry, and actively represents the interests of films and filmmakers.
The organization currently has more than 100 members from 40 countries, including prestigious festivals such as Berlinale Shorts and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
SFC membership is particularly significant for networking, professional knowledge sharing, and increasing the international visibility of films presented at the festival. The partnership will already play a prominent role in this year’s professional programs of the festival.
